The Nebraska Women's Leadership Network, formerly Cather Circle, was created in 1999 by the Nebraska Alumni Association to promote the growth and education of women and create a nationwide network of women leaders with ties to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Alumnae, current students and women with an affinity for the university are welcome to participate. The Network is a membership benefit of the Nebraska Alumni Association and both annual and life members have access to this community. NAA membership is open to alumni, fans, and friends of the university. Learn more about NAA membership benefits and how to join. » The Network is designed for women to connect through virtual and in person events and build communities with women of all ages, identities and backgrounds. Event themes focus on career development, civic activities and mentoring. Former speakers include Pulitzer Prize winners, state senators, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, authors, artists and more. Students with an interest in leadership development and personal and professional growth are encouraged to participate. Former student members have gone on to pursue rewarding careers and prestigious awards, including Rhodes, Truman and Fulbright scholarships.
