The mission of the Nebraska Alumni Association ROTC and Military Affiliate is to bring together members of the alumni community who are joined in the common bond of the ROTC experience with the calling of military service for the purposes of promoting and strengthening the university, her institutions, and the Cadets and Midshipmen of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The 2022 annual meeting of the ROTC & Military Affiliate is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 1:30 pm CT. The meeting will be held virtually. Current affiliate president, Scott Vilter, will provide updates on upcoming initiatives of the ROTC & Military Affiliate, current scholarship information and will recap the ribbon cutting of the Veteran’s Tribute located on UNL’s campus outside of the Military & Naval Sciences building. Membership and Support The Nebraska Alumni Association (NAA) and the ROTC and Military Affiliate welcome and encourage you to become a member. Join here ». The affiliate will host an annual fall general membership meeting corresponding with a University of Nebraska home football game. We will also host an annual spring general membership meeting coinciding with the Annual University of Nebraska-Lincoln Spring ROTC Joint Chancellor's Review. The affiliate will raise funds for ROTC student scholarships and will sponsor a mentoring program for recent graduates as they enter active duty service. Donate to the UNL ROTC and Military Affiliate scholarship fund. » The University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) and members of the larger Nebraska community seek to honor veterans and military service members by creating a Veterans Tribute on Memorial Mall, near the Pershing Military and Naval Science building. Please consider supporting this effort. » Please join the NAA and the affiliate as we come together as former classmates and graduates of UNL ROTC programs, rekindle friendships and support current ROTC students and recent graduates as they follow in our footsteps—serving and defending this great nation. The following are eligible for active membership in the ROTC and Military Affiliate:
Active membership may be obtained by any eligible person, which includes any UNL ROTC or Military Veteran graduate of UNL and member of the Nebraska Alumni Association.

Regional or Local Chapters Individual, regional or local ROTC and military affiliate chapters may be formed within the affiliate upon approval of the affiliate board of directors. Individual chapters will be responsible for the selection of their officers and the president of each individual chapter will hold a voting position on the affiliate board of directors. Eligibility for membership in all individual chapters will at a minimum adhere to the basic requirements set forth for affiliate membership. However, individual chapters will be allowed to develop further membership requirements contingent on approval from the affiliate board of directors. All members of individual chapters are required to hold membership in the NAA and the ROTC and Military Affiliate.
