Happy Homecoming Week! I’m looking forward to seeing you this Friday, from 5-8 p.m., for the CoJMC Homecoming Party. Partake in appetizers and adult beverages while meeting our new faculty, getting a sneak peek at the Agency Experience Lab and checking out the construction progress on the studio redesign. We’ll be making a big announcement about the studio at the party. I hope to see you there!

As the sun leisurely sinks on a chilly February night, the Lincoln High School gymnasium slowly fills with a gaggle of nervous spectators. In a few hours, one of the teams — either the Lincoln High Links or the Papillion-La Vista South Titans — will advance to the Girls State Basketball Tournament.

After six weeks in Nebraska, #OperationFindNebraska got a beautiful answer filled with love and new friends. It was no longer a map with some weird imaginations. It was home to some of the best humans on earth.

In a tiny Manhattan apartment, Meredith Ezinma Ramsay propped her iPhone on an Ikea shelf and pressed record. She stepped back, cradled her custom Italian violin under her chin and allowed the melody of Future’s 2017 trap hit Mask Off to wash over her.

No one but Jon Kelley (’88) — broadcasting student by morning, Husker running back by afternoon practice – wanted to disc jockey the 6 a.m. shift on 90.3 KRNU. His college obsession with the broadcasting industry led to an extensive career as a sports journalist, television host and producer.
