Cornhusker Compass & Official Tradition Keepers

Cornhusker Compass

A successor to the yearbook, the Cornhusker Compass is distributed to all Scarlet Guard members and serves as a campus guide. The book features past and present traditions that have played an integral role in the life of the university through the decades. Go beyond your experience in the classroom and use this book to meet new friends, explore hidden aspects of campus and make each tradition your own.

Official Tradition Keepers

By taking full advantage of the Cornhusker Compass, you can become a UNL Official Tradition Keeper (OTK). We challenge you to complete your book by the time you graduate. If you experience 50 or more traditions during your years on campus, you'll receive an OTK medallion to wear at your graduation. Start building your legacy today!
